Our Story

The inception of Vital Qi began with my father, born into generations of Chinese herbalist that practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in China. He immigrated to Canada over 40 years ago and was one of the pioneers who introduced Traditional Chinese Medicine to Western Canada. He paved the path for Traditional Chinese Medicine by organizing a committee to educate, advocate and develop standards for the profession. My father served the community for decades using Chinese herbal medicine to help balance and heal the body. To carry on his legacy, we created Vital Qi with the mission of providing a platform for people to have access to quality sourced herbs at their convenience. We have taken methodologies practiced for thousands of years to help support you on your journey of nourishing the body, mind and spirit.
